Following on from our successful work with Newham 2012 Unit and ExCeL London, Sauce is currently teaming up with LRS Consultancy to help events and venues improve their waste management and procurement practices.

Customers, visitors and suppliers have growing expectations for events to be managed sustainably.  The sustainability agenda of London 2012 and the launch of the British Standard BS8901 Sustainable Event Management have magnified the interest associated with the environmental impact of events and venues.   With landfill tax doubling from 2007 levels by 2010, we believe now is the time for them to get recycling.

Sauce and LRS help events and venues audit their current practices to identify how they can improve.  We test the viability of proposed initiatives to ensure they are right for the events and venues and then work with them and their contractors to help prepare and implement changes.  By introducing these changes now, we believe they can gain a competitive edge, cut their costs and cushion their businesses from future increases.
